Budgam police recovers kidnapped girl within 24 hours | KNO

Srinagar, March 26 (KNP) : On 25th March 2018 Police Station Budgam received a written complaint from Aijaz Ahmad of Kakan Maran that his sister (name withheld) had been kidnapped by Zahoor Ahmad Dar of Chatabugh Budgam.

Upon receiving this information, a case FIR NO. 56/2018 under section 363 RPC was registered and investigation was taken up. During the course of investigation, raids were conducted by Budgam police at various suspected places and subsequently the said girl was recovered and the accused was also arrested during the same intervening night of 25/26 March 2018.

People of the area have hailed the efforts of Budgam Police particularly SHO Budgam for his swift action.(KNO)
